10km training plans

Doing 10k runs just now. Some days I sail through them other days I'm struggling the last bit. Have ran in the past 14k but can't seem to get back up there.

    • Don't be afraid to run slower/walk. I feel best when I train in the morning and walk the dog in the afternoon.

not done a 10k yet unless in training, jumping in at the deep end with a half marathon in March, although there is a 10k a week before the half but I think that's a little too close to put them together!!!!

Doing 10k runs at the moment as a way of building stamina and working through issues with my running style, and it seems to be working. I find I can push myself but not to the point where I am hanging on at the end.

    • HI Mark, I had similar problem restricted days to train. I started to push that little more on the days I could train.

    • I started to run extra .5Km then a few hours later do another 1 or 2. It built up well, as long as I eat well
