Hamstring injuries

I have had a hamstring injury now for about three weeks. I tried to kid myself it would be fine and used a foam roller to try and ease the pain. After getting a very sharp pain on a few occasions while running recently I have finally decided to book myself in to see a sports therapist. I am absolutely gutted that I cannot now run as part of my exercise regime especially with events coming up that I would love me to enter. Now I have to wait and see what the therapist says and try and switch my training to more upper body weights. This is the first hamstring injury that I have had and I'm really missing running now. Feeling jealous when I see people out running now! Gutted but I'll be back......eventually!!

Just getting over problems with plantar fasciitis and now I've pulled a hamstring! Getting my body is not liking this running lark

Ive been suffering with recurring hamstring and glute problems.  Any advice?
