Please could you post a vegan equivalent of the week's menu?  I use soya milk instead of cows milk, take no honey, meat, fish, quorn, egg or dairy.  I can't just swap all of the meat or fish options for tofu without knowing what quantity of tofu is equivalent to each meal...  Many thanks

My god, you might get skinny but you'll never have any satisfaction from eating this diet and eventually give in and let rip on all things bad. ...... but good luck if your giving it a shot!

Melon is good -low in calories, and fills you up. Salad is also good-just keep eating and eating and you will soon feel full. I recommend James Bond's famous  salad dressing * which is low cal and you do not need to use much as it has a very strong and aromatic flavour.

(*Ingredients: 1 part extra virgin olive oil to 6 parts balsamic vinegar, 1 large tablespoon of English mustard, 2 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 large tablespoon demerera sugar. Must be shaken and not stirred)

If you don't mind being constantly hungry this diet might work, but if you're an overweight runner you are most likely carbohydrate intolerant/insulin resistant in which case you should cut out the carbohydrates. Do that and you can eat plenty of fat and proteins, never get hungry and you won't gain it all back when you get tired of being hungry. I've lost over 3 stone this year and at 56 I'm well on my way back to running at the pace I did at 26. I am vastly more healthy than before, never get hungry even while running and fasting simultaneously. Don't take my work for it though, listen to Prof Tim Noakes describing his own experience. Tim suffered from allergic rhinitis, headaches, poor eyesight, gastric reflux, IBS and low energy. He got rid of all the symptoms and his glasses and he runs faster in his 60 than he did in the previous 20 years. Here's a great 17 minute interview ... required viewing for nutritionists. www.youtube.com/watch
