Hi all, I'm Jack, 32, Cardiff. Currently overweight (22st), 6ft3 and about to change my life around for the sake of longevity and for my soon-to-be here daughter, Tali. I work fulltime in Cardiff, in an office where I get very little time to excersise. I have had multiple failed attempts with gym memberships (too corporate, too full of themselves and generally clinical places but that's just my opinion) so I have decided this weekend that I want to start running. I have begun the couch25k plan from the NHS and I completed my initial run at 6.30am this morning. It was very hard going but I aim to persevere. I have quit smoking as of 2 weeks ago and I feel a lot better for it. My life change will be hard going but I am confident that I can stick to it. I've began eating a lot heathier (not dieting - just exchanging bad foods for good and in smaller portions). I look forward to making friends with people on here through my journey and I look forward for your support and advice :)
