advice on running shoes

baldie baldie
I`m just taking up running. I am a bit over weight - one good reason to start - and want to try getting out of the gym and into the fresh air. Is there anyone out there who can advise me on a cheap running shoe to start with? I always feel that there is an awlful lot of weight banging down on my old knees and need to buy some new ones.
many thanks

get to a good running store eg sweatshop and they will sort you out with what suits you depending on how you run. Running shoes (as opposed to fashion trainers found on chavs and chavettes) are usually not that expensive
