This year sees the first ever 5k run around Charvil, just outside Reading. The event is the brain child of a local runner who has persuaded the fabulous Purple Patch to run the event. Expect trails & footpaths around a traffic free country park, and burgers / beer available after as part of the village fete.

Time is quickly passing and the Charvil 5k is getting closer. The course is now set, the organisers are in place, the celeb prize giving is arranged, the good weather has been ordered and there is even a BBQ for after!
