Calvin Harris - The Girls: Edward Chapman - Running

Normally I run straight from the house, but the other day I took the dogs with me so I drove to the start of the off-road area. Just before I left the car I heard the Calvin Harris song The Girls. I do not like his grammar, but I certainly agree with the sentiments of the song. I'm not a ladies' man and have never been unfaithful; I just prefer the company of women to men. About 70% of my friends are women and about 90% of those are runners. I like running and wondered how easy it would be to subsitute 'run' for 'girls'. Here is the result. It made me realise what a great variety there is to enjoy.

That last line is particularly relevant to me because my favourite event is the Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon where you have to carry all your own food and equipment.

  • Like this. I'll definately be singing this to myself on my next run in the Sierra Nevada

  • Ibex Trail Runner - I'm jealous. I saw the Sierra Nevada in the distance last July when I ran the Al Andalus Ultimate Trail. Absolutely brilliant race. Would love to run in the Sierra Nevada. Enjoy your singing.
