Living close to the Peak District I am lucky to have some fantastic running territory on my doorstep. One of my favourite runs is up Win Hill above Ladybower reservoir. It's a hard climb but the reward is splendid views in every direction.

London's Hyde Park at about 6:30am. If you visit during the afternoon you'll be dodging tourists and discarded picnic rubbish, but in the morning the park is practically empty and the sun coming up over the Serpentine is a great way to feed the soul for us nature-starved Londoners.
