My feet are quite narrow however these shoes retained a secure and comfortable fit, enveloping but not compressing my feet. The ride was light yet responsive, and they felt ‘inconspicuous’ which is how I like my shoes to feel.

The strong, robust treaded soles boosted my confidence when tackling steep and unstable declines. A sturdy yet lightweight shoe with consistent support throughout, and noticeable extra support to the arch and heel. The upper fabric provides protection coupled with the desired level of wicking through the mesh compound.

The “Brooks Tongue Tie” is an excellent addition to this shoe, as it stops the tounge travelling and keeps it central.

Being a trail shoe, the flexibility is not that of a standard running shoe, however, they’re not restrictive during foot strike and lift-off and the toe box felt snug and secure.

A great looking shoe that performs well and as is always the case with Brooks, very good value for money.
