The 2013 BUPA Great North Run takes place in Gateshead/Newcastle on 15th September 2013. 52,000 runners will take to the streets of Newcastle, run across the iconic bridge on the Tyne and then onto the finish in South Shields. The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon and has a unique atmosphere to match. The GNR should really be on every runners' "must do" list!
