Charity places for the 2012 Chicago Marathon.
One of the classic major city marathons, the 2012 Chicago Marathon is taking place on 7th October. It's flat and fast course gives runners a wonderful tour through the many diverse neighbourhoods of Chicago, taking in many of the windy city's historical landmarks including the world famous Seers Towers.
It's also a great city break, with lots of fantastic shopping, galleries, museums and sights. All in all the Chicago marathon is regarded as one of the "must do" overseas marathons.
