How to enter the 2012 Virgin London Marathon ballot.

If you're hoping to get a place in the 2012 Virgin London Marathon via the online ballot you'll need to register your details on the official site as soon as possible after the ballot opens on 26th April 2011.
The 2011 Virgin London Marathon ballot closed once 160,000 runners had put their names down and this year demand is expected to be higher than ever. So the ballot could remain open for just a matter of hours. The ballot will open on www.virginlondonmarathon.com on 26th April - get there early!
Even if you do manage to enter the ballot, the chances of you being awarded a place are slim, so if you'd prefer to know for sure that'll you be running the 2010 Virgin London Marathon your best option would be to take up a guaranteed Golden Bond place for one of the charities supporting the event.

Looking to enter this, I'm currently a long way off the standard but with a hard 12 months I know I can get there :)
