Well when I first started running 3 years ago at the age of 57 reason my wife had just been told she had Breast cancer so I ran fun run with my daughter and did 6 miler forgot to turn off joined a running club told them I wanted to do a Marathon they said start small and get big so I did from 6 miles then half's
my first half was tough. I did my first Marathon at the age of 58 sadly my wife lost her fight against cancer so when I crossed that line for Breakthrough/Breastcancer tears filled my eyes 3:45 , two years latter having backpacked twice round the world I have just competed my 5th marathon 60 years old and nine half marathons one including the Sidney harbour bridge every one for Breastcancer running has helped me so much and give me so much in return thanks guys and good running from rich.
